This is what you get when you ask an engineer to make you some windchimes.😂😅 Their brains FASCINATE me.😅😂😅😂🎉🎉🎉❤
Great instructions and supporting resources.
Awesome content. I plan to make a copper set!
A message to everyone. Please don’t make any more wind chimes.
Sorry, but we must.

THANK YOU, EXCELLENT😃😃😃😃😃😃 PRESENTATION
Thanks George, glad it was helpful.
Amazing GOD gave us this
Brilliant, thank you for sharing this information
Deep gratitude and respect for your detailed manuals. God bless you
I was so impressed that I made one 2 years ago, but I'm only just about to try it having found a suitable wood source.
Everything about this video instruction is excellent. Not only the presentation and the detail, but the knowledge that you pass on in your spreadsheets is a model for how to instruct. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Now I am kicking myself for giving away old copper pipe from the bathroom renovation. I just hope I have enough left out the back shed to have a go at making myself a chime, and that I can achieve something even a little close to this standard. My siblings used to call me a daddy's girl as a kid, and I have definitely turned into my father. If he were alive now and saw this type of demonstration on RUclips he would be amazed and impresed, as I am now. This quality demonstration is most inspiring!
you are amazing and have blown my mind. Thank you for the in depth rabbit hole of Windchimes. I am making a few and have inspired me to do art. every day I work on it a little. thank you so much for not restricting your intelligence for us, heavy but simple subject. super happy man thanks. subbd. learned so much about something I knew nothing about. My tones sound great the chart is amazing man. so smart. appreciate you.
Thank you for your video! However, I wanted to mention that the pipes don't sound like C4 to me... the 5 tubes sound like: Aluminum: F# Titanium: F Steel (EMT): F Steel pipe: F# Copper: F Am I the only one? Am I missing something?
Thank you for showing!
Nice video 👍 BTW, it’s not a safe practice to grind on the side of grinding wheel
I have a set of wind chimes but the sting broke on a couple how do I fix them
Can i buy a 3 inch diameter chime from you?
This is fantastic information. Thank you so much for sharing :)
Thank you so much 4 this 🥰 im getting ready to make a bamboo chime, going to make a metal one too now 😄
This is great! Thanks
My brother and I made Chimes for a all of our siblings and parents (and in-laws) many Christmases ago. This year I want to make another for an amazing friend, I was searching everywhere for your video I'm so glad to have found it again. Thank you so much, I truly love hearing the beautiful chimes we have made under your direction, so do our loved ones. May your notes ring loud and clear forever. Your attention to detail on the subject matter is astounding. The Bob Ross of Wind Chimes. Thank you.
I never knew it was so scientific. Awsome.
Best chime diy video ever watched. Very scientific and detailed
This man is a genius.i want to make one so bad
If I do an oxygen tank I'm wondering if I want to leave the top on, or make it an open tube and cut the top off as well as the bottom, or would there be a difference between cutting the top off vs cutting the bottom off and hang it upside down.
Just amazing video instruction, so much information I have to re-watch and take notes. I'm going to attempt an oxy steel tank, solo chime.
So I have a bunch of ¾" wall, 8½" diameter cast steel pipe, and an open property high on a hill. The sticks are 10' long. I'm new to chime making, but this gonna be kool. Hold my welding stinger. I will probably be back, Lee.
How did it work out?
I was looking for a tofu press and wound up here. Initially just searched for lever press, then figured I'd try "Dutch style lever press" as cheese making isn't too far from tofu making tbh. then found this video.
Oh, found the video on "Christine DeMerchant's Web Page". She has a lot of interesting things there. Solar cooker, woodgas stove etc.
I prefer the sounds from the buoys by sea ports
Lee, you can please made a "kailani". Its a instrumento that appears a wind chime and sounds really good to music teraphy
G4 sounds best, then D5 is awesome too
You are a pure soul. Thank you very much for sharing this precious knowledge! You deserve more subscribers.
Lee, I'm trying to build a wind chime with 1.25" EMT. I can't figure out the tube length or hang point. could you help? I've watched the videos and looked at the charts but to no avail. I'm obviously missing something.
علمتني شيء جديد ، شكراً 🌹 .

WHERE IS THIS WEBSITE!
Hi Lee thank you for your viedo . I have an old windchwith a center bar. I get how you thread it but any ideas how i can get old tread cut out or maybe I could burn it out?
Good question, might try a long slender kitchen knife, or a barbeque skewer. Burning might work using one of those long lighters.
Awesome ! Thanks for sharing Mr. Lee Hitr . :)
2023..restringing all my chimes. I have set broken, played amazing grace..i do not have skill, sound to sting right. What is your suggestion..
Thank you Sir. I admire the rare degree of care and level of detail that you’ve included in this presentation. I feel privileged that you have shared your own research with us. Thankyou.
Hi How are you? Its a long time you post this video Hope y still healty :)) You know how to fix a buzzing tube? Have 65 inch windchime Somethimes when the clapper hit the tube , he make a buzzing noise , i think from the string
Good question, if the tube is cracked it can buzz or if something is touching the tube a buzz can occur. Also, is the clapper cracked and making the buzz or just the tube? Can you tell which tube is buzzing?
@@LeeHiteVideo hi , thnx for your reply!!! Its one year old brand :Corinthiam bells and size 65 inch The smallest tube make noise I don't see a crack or anything like that, I've stretched the string from the buzzing tube a bit, and now i hear less time buzzing noise do you recognize this isseu? Thnx !
Very nice presentation. I made some hanging bells from old high pressure air tanks that has a long sustaining note. I have 5 of them of different diameter and length. The tanks are 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch thick. The lengths are between 10 inches to 50 inches. I'm very interested in the math of calculating the frequency of these bells. Your presentation on the topic was very good. I will certainly make more of these because I have plenty of scrap tubing. Dennis WA6ATI
Thanks I have tried my best to find math that works with a tube open at one end and closed on the other end, with out success.
💫
Appreciate your effort and time.
You're most welcome!
Love the simplicity old school as myself ,the tools the idea the good results-amazing !
Lee, I really love your work…I think I know how to make the notes play in order instead of random notes…I really want to get that info into your website..Can we talk and maybe you could spend some time perfecting it also..?
Hi again Mr Lee Hite.😁😁 Apparently am having a tiny problem with the calculator. I click in the blue section. But it does not enter the # am typing. Also at the bottom of the chart where all the types of metals are. There is like a lock drawing symbol on the side of each metal. And on the top of the measuring chart it says read-only. Some it's not allowing me to enter the numerical value. Am just not too tech savvy . Maybe it is my computer? I don't know. What do you think Mr Lee Hite? Thanks.✝✝🙏🙏🐏🐏❤❤🎺🎺🦁🦁🕊🕊😁😁👍👍🕛🕛✝✝
give me your email address so I can send you a picture about this
@@LeeHiteVideo Go to the website and send me an email so i can respond via email. Thanks
Hi Mr Lee Hite. I did download your calculator. It's awesome. But, I can't find for stainless steel material. Thank you.✝✝😁😁🕛🕛👍👍🕊🕊🦁🦁🎺🎺❤❤🐏🐏🙏🙏✝✝
When you pull down the metals menu look for stainless steel under the steel selection.
@@LeeHiteVideo Thanks.😁😁
